Our founder Mr. Pang Khek Seng joined the food and beverage business in his young age working at his father’s dim sum shop in Sungai Petani, Kedah. Aspiring to be a professional chef and to improve his skills, he worked in various organisations; from several hotels, to cruise ships and even pastry shops. Dim sum is a Chinese cuisine that delights the customer’s palate and require detailed culinary skills to be made to perfection.
After our founder established the Maxim Dim Sum restaurant in 2005, he established Dragon World Gourmet Sdn. Bhd. in 2007 with the purpose to support the restaurant’s expansion. The management’s approach in the factory resulted in optimised resource utilisation and stringent quality control.
